Hey, you girls, take some advice from a guy. So listen, girls. Us guys know that you have a million and one problems going on at once and we know your brains are messed up right now, at this time of your delicate lives. But please don't take it out on us. Guys are stupid- let's face it... We don't know what you're thinking 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We won't pick up on your hints or your tests that you think are so obvious. If you have something to say to us, just say it plain and simple. We don't have the time nor the willingness to spend the time to figure out what you are trying to say. And please don't give us crap when we say something "stupid" or "wrong". Listen up, most guys are going to tell you what is on their minds and we are not going to think about what you feel about what we have to say. Second, us guys know the different pains you go through. Whether they are mental and physical we feel the same things, if not worse things, we just don't need to express each emotion that we have. Just relax.
The thing that annoys me the most is conceded people. Whether it be standing still in the hallway not giving a crap about where anyone else has to go or dumb drivers that don't look where they're going, the stupid things people do just gets on my last nerve. Take my two most prominent examples that I've stated above; clogging the hallways and stupid driving. First, standing still in the hallway. How hard is it to just move to the side so that the normal people that are trying to get to their classes and avoid detention can fast-walk in peace. It really isn't that hard to move one foot to the left or right and let people move. Like honestly just get out of my way. Second, dumb drivers. This is one of the most irritating things I have encountered in my almost seventeen years on this planet. People that don't think while they drive don't deserve to drive. If you don't look before you turn or don't think to break a little before you come to a stop, why are you behind a death machine? I speak to all dumb drivers when I say "you". You need to understand this, get this fact through your fat filled head. The normal people on the road are trying to get somewhere in peace, and we don't need the extra stress added onto the mountain that we already have. Just stop driving badly or stop driving.
Ten years from now I'll want to be living in New York City or Los Angeles as a orthopedic surgeon (bone doctor). I want to live in New York or Los Angeles for two main reasons: 1) I love the city lifestyle. The hustle-bustle of a few million people, the countless number of family-owned or chain restaurants, the numerous night clubs, the amazing work opportunities, etc. The city is just fun- I will never get tired of the kind of lifestyle of living in a city. 2) Cities offer the best work opportunities in the country. Especially as a doctor or surgeon, there are huge numbers of places to work, as opposed to some country village in the middle of Nebraska. In the city there are dozens of hospitals, clinics, and private practices that a doctor or surgeon can get involved with. As well as a higher pay roll because of the millions of patients that you will most likely have. Also, the close knit buildings promotes walking to and from work, which is a good form of exercise. In some random town in the middle of farms and cow manure, there are little practices to choose from and the pay is not nearly as much because of the lack of population.

ReplyDeleteRyan, your last paragraph that you wrote really interests me. I would also like to live in a big city as well, because I love the feel of "big city living." I also admire your choice to become an orthopedic surgeon because that is a really tough field of study to get into. You have to put in a lot of work, and you have to be extremely determined to reach your goal. It's really good that you know what you want to do for your career. I also have the same mentality. I want to work as hard as I can so I can have a successful career.
